Trump and Muslim Business partners.
Interesting to note that Trump has business interests in the heavily Muslim countries of Indonesia, Turkey, Qatar, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan. Multiple golf courses, hotels and housing projects bear the Trump name in those countries, as do consumer products in stores dotting the Arabian peninsula.
If
Trump were running for President specifically to line his own pockets,
it's doubtful he'd have risked millions of dollars in income from these
regions by announcing a temporary halt to Muslim travel and immigration.
By risking this income source, it becomes clear that the ban is NOT due
to a hatred of Muslims but is truly about National Security and
keeping American's safe, no matter the cost to himself. With few exceptions, those Muslim business partnerships have not suffered from Trump's position. "We would like to stress that our agreement is with the Trump Organization as one of the premium golf course operators in the world and as such we would not comment further on Mr. Trump's personal or political agenda, nor comment on the internal American political debate scene," said Niall McLoughlin, senior vice president at the Dubai-based luxury developer, DAMAC Properties.
